The building hosting today administration offices is located in the square used to be a social center during the Venetian rule. Construction started on 1663 and finished on 1693. It is the only building in the city that is made from sculptured stone from the village of Sinies. On 1961 in east facade the sculptured head the admiral Morosini was immured surrounded by four children symbolizing his virtues. 1720 it became a theater until 1903, then as a Town Hall and nowadays as a complementary administration. You can also clearly recognize the emblem of the island that of an ancient sailing boat.
Ps.Admiral Morosini succeeded in overthrowing the Genoese corsair Leone Vetrano, who for a short period had occupied the island.
